Pashinyan, Macron discuss key issues on Armenia–France agenda in Paris

A private meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and French President Emmanuel Macron took place at the Élysée Palace, the PM’s office has said in a readout.
The Prime Minister warmly congratulated Emmanuel Macron on the occasion of France’s national holiday and wished good health and prosperity to friendly France.
The French President expressed gratitude for the good wishes, emphasizing his commitment to developing and deepening multilateral cooperation with Armenia.
The interlocutors discussed a number of issues on the agenda of Armenia-France relations, which also related to the progress of joint programs.
Prime Minister Pashinyan touched upon the discussions held on July 14 in Brussels, emphasizing the Armenian Government’s goal of deepening cooperation with the EU.
They also exchanged views on issues of regional importance.
