Sgt. Pobokhian named public information officer
The Glendale Police Department announced Sergeant Gaik Pobokhian is the new Public Information Officer (PIO).
Sgt. Pobokhian has been a part of GPD since his days as a Police Explorer at age 15, later serving as a Cadet before being sworn in as an officer in 2011.
Prior to this appointment, Sgt. Pobokhian oversaw proactive crime prevention efforts across the city as part of the Special Enforcement Detail (SED).
Now, as PIO and @chiefcid_gpd ’s Adjutant, he will oversee public communications and executive coordination.
