“Operation Naples”: An international plan in which Israel plays a pivotal role… Details of a secret Israeli-Turkish deal that toppled the Assad regime
Ankara – Journalist Yilmaz Ozdil broke his silence with surprising statements broadcast on the Turkish opposition channel “Sozcu”, analyzing what he called the “Naples Operation”, on an international plan in which Israel plays a pivotal role.
Ozdel argued that the events in Syria were not a coincidence, pointing out that they were a new phase of a long-planned NATO operation.
He stated that what he called the “Naples operation” had now moved beyond the stage of direct combat and entered the stage of construction and fortification.
He explained that the biggest winner in this period, which he described as the “fortification phase of the Naples operation,” is Türkiye.
He stated that, unlike many others, Ankara is certain that there is a great danger threatening Turkey specifically from Syria, adding: “From now on and perhaps for the next fifty years, Turkey will have to focus all its attention on Syria, because the threat coming from there will never end… the focus will never be diverted from that direction”.
He stated in the context that while everyone was preoccupied with the opening process and Abdullah Ocalan’s statements, Erdogan was focusing on Syria with the head of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and Hakan Fidan, adding: “I think Erdogan sensed the already exhausted situation of the PKK, and that there was an internal conflict within the party… Instead of sitting down and talking with them as the Nationalist Movement Party did to destroy the Syrian Democratic Forces, he actually sought to legitimize Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa in the White House and the Pentagon”.
He pointed out that the region has turned into a huge economic project, talking about a reconstruction process for Syria worth approximately one trillion dollars, indicating that airports, ports, oil pipelines and investments in infrastructure will be implemented successively.
Ozdel likened Syria to a shopping mall divided into several stores, saying: “This is what it looks like when you watch the match from the VIP box”
According to Ozdel, despite occasional “minor clashes” on the ground, the overall framework has become clear.
According to the Turkish journalist, all the talk about military tensions between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is nothing but a smokescreen to conceal what is happening behind closed doors.
The journalist stated: “They also manipulated us… They claimed that Israel and Turkey would clash (in Syria)… This is all nonsense.
