House arrest, bail and travel restrictions imposed on six members of opposition bloc
The information was confirmed to Aysor.am by Kima Avdalyan, spokesperson for the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
Earlier, Sevak Khachatryan, head of the Haghtanak faction in the Vagharshapat Council of Elders, stated that from early morning of February 11 repressive actions had begun in the city against individuals holding opposition views.
The Investigative Committee announced that members and supporters of the Haghtanak bloc had allegedly obstructed the free exercise of electoral rights by a number of citizens. According to the Committee, six individuals were detained and brought before the court with a motion to apply detention as a preventive measure.
