A monthly allowance of 50,000 drams has been set for third and each subsequent child born from January 1, 2026.
The government has adopted, within the list of non-reportable drafts, a decision titled “On setting the amount of the benefit for the third and each subsequent child and approving the procedure for assigning and paying the benefit.”
The benefit applies to children born on or after January 1, 2026, and will be assigned and paid through the Unified Social Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Radar Armenia reported.
The document also defines the procedure for assigning and paying the benefit, the scope of required documents, as well as mechanisms for data exchange between state information systems and for organizing the process.
The process of assigning and paying the benefit will be organized mainly in an automated and online format in order to simplify administration and reduce the administrative burden on citizens.
The law was adopted on December 17, 2025. For third and subsequent children born before January 1, 2026, the monetary support system established by the government decision of December 23, 2021 (No. 2169-L) will continue to apply, which also provides for a monthly payment of 50,000 drams. That support, regardless of its discontinued status, is renamed as the benefit assigned under this law.
