Zareh’s “Where Motion Becomes Memory” Opens at Litavie Art Gallery in Glendale
The exhibition invites visitors into a world where order and chaos coexist in dynamic harmony. Zebra stripes flow into sweeping arcs of color, becoming rhythm instead of anatomy. Mechanical forms move forward with tentative intention, while vividly rendered creatures pulse with explosive energy. Repeating dots, loops, and trajectories appear throughout the works as a private visual language—suggesting movement, connection, and the passage of time.
What makes Zareh’s work especially compelling is its emotional honesty. There is no effort to overdefine meaning or impose a singular narrative. Instead, childlike spontaneity exists alongside sharp observation, creating works that feel playful yet deeply thoughtful. His drawings reflect an ongoing exploration of balance, direction, and the unseen forces that shape both nature and technology.
“This exhibition is not about arriving at one interpretation,” the gallery notes. “It is about witnessing process, energy, and imagination in motion. Zareh’s work reminds us that creativity is never linear—it loops, leaps, hesitates, and surprises, much like life itself.”
The exhibition will remain on view through April 11, 2026.
