Paris to Host Diaspora Mobilization Conference
A conference dedicated to the Diaspora Mobilization will be held in Paris on April 11-12, which will be aimed at confronting the unprecedented crises and challenges that have shaken the Armenian people in recent years.
Since 2018, the authorities of the Republic of Armenia have abandoned the Armenian national interests, the files of the Armenian Genocide and Artsakh (the result of which is the forced displacement of Armenians from Artsakh), as well as the threats against Armenian identity and attacks on national institutions have created an unprecedented and disastrous situation for the entire Armenian world.
The goal of the upcoming conference is to collectively discuss the situation, mobilize the Diaspora, forming a unified and purposeful position in defense and strengthening of the state of Armenia, the Armenian Diaspora, and, in general, the Armenian national interests and the Armenian Cause.
The conference will bring together about 150 representatives from more than 25 countries, including community leaders, organization leaders, public and political figures, scientists, specialists, businessmen and youth.
The key points of the agenda are:
The strategic role of the Diaspora in solving national problems and the political agenda.
The importance of national values and the Armenian Church in the Diaspora in terms of preserving Armenian identity: the challenges of the new situation.
Key issues and horizons of Armenia-Diaspora relations, the Diaspora as a component of the soft power of the Armenian world.
Mobilization and revitalization of the Diaspora for the sake of pan-Armenian goals.
At the end, the conference will address Armenians around the world with a declaration, which will be followed by political, informational, community and other initiatives.
