Alen Simonyan confirms divorce rumors

Movses Harutyunyan, the spokesperson for Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan, has confirmed to Aysor.am that Simonyan and his wife Mariam Margaryan have divorced.

Alen Simonyan has also confirmed the report, refusing to make further comments.

Earlier, Irakanum.am reported that the couple had filed for divorce at the Civil Status Acts Registration Agency under the Ministry of Justice. According to legal procedures, they were granted a mandatory waiting period of several months before finalizing the process.
