ANCA-WR to Honor Schwartz Semerdjian Law Firm with “Advocate for Justice Award” at Annual Gala on October 26
Los Angeles, CA – The Armenian National Committee of America – Western Region (ANCA-WR) is proud to announce that the distinguished San Diego-based law firm Schwartz Semerdjian will receive the 2025 “Advocate for Justice Award” at its annual gala, to be held on October 26, 2025, at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel.
The honor comes in recognition of the firm’s courageous and unyielding defense of the ANCA-WR in a politically motivated and meritless lawsuit filed by an Azerbaijani attorney in 2024–an attack widely viewed as an attempt to intimidate and silence Armenian-American advocacy. Thanks to the legal expertise and principled commitment of the Schwartz Semerdjian team, the case was swiftly and decisively dismissed, reaffirming the constitutional rights of the ANCA-WR and the broader Armenian-American community.

The ANCA-WR Gala Banquet is the organization’s annual event, bringing together activists, public officials, coalition partners, and supporters from across the Western United States to celebrate champions of the Armenian Cause. The 2025 Gala will highlight legislative, legal, and grassroots victories while spotlighting the continued fight for justice for Artsakh and Armenia.
