ARF Bureau Holds Fundraiser in Glendale

GLENDALE — More than 100 benefactors and supporters gathered on the evening of Saturday, September 27, at the Glendale residence of Mr. and Mrs. Gaidzag and Dzovig Zeitlian for a dinner event in support of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Bureau’s activities.
Organized by the ARF Bureau’s Fundraising Committee in the Western United States, the evening reflected the steadfast commitment of the community toward advancing the collective national agenda of the Armenian people and state.
The evening was emceed by Hovig Saliba, who guided the program.
Remarks were delivered by Garo Madenlian, Chairman of the ARF Western U.S. Central Committee and Daron Der Khachadourian, Member of the ARF Bureau. In his remarks, Der Khachadourian stated the importance of resilience in the face of despair and adversity, as well the preponderant need for grit, seasoned judgment, and leadership while Armenia and our nation navigate in very treacherous situations.
ARF Bureau member Lilit Galstyan, who is also a member of the Armenian Parliament, offered remarks via Zoom. She underscored the importance of continued Diaspora engagement in strengthening Armenia and Artsakh.
Also present was Western Prelate Archbishop Kegham Khacherian who blessed the tables and addressed the gathering, highlighting the spiritual and national dimensions of the evening’s purpose.
The evening featured cultural and musical performances by Antranig Kzirian, Ara Dabanjian, and Tro Krikorian. Guests also participated in a silent auction featuring lithograph paintings by noted French-Armenian painter Jean Carzou, which were sponsored by Ara Avedikian, with proceeds adding to the evening’s success.
The hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Gaidzag and Dzovig Zeitlian, not only opened their home and covered all expenses for the evening, but also contributed generously themselves.
