Armenia Fund USA Announces $7.5 Million Raised in 2025
LOS ANGELES – Armenia Fund’s 28th Annual International Thanksgiving Day Telethon marked a celebrated its 30-year anniversary.
The six-hour-long telethon showcased three decades of initiatives that reshaped communities across the homeland, modernizing villages, building critical facilities, and supporting families in need.
Through a year-round sustained fundraising effort culminating in the annual Thanksgiving Day Telethon, Armenia Fund USA generated over $7.5 million in 2025, providing the necessary financial resources to continue new and ongoing projects in Armenia. The organization has several projects and programs, including housing and vital infrastructure in villages, aiding the forcibly displaced families, expanding educational and healthcare access, supporting cultural and sports programs, and providing essential humanitarian aid.
“As we mark thirty years of dedicated service, our commitment to supporting communities throughout Armenia remains steadfast. The funds raised this year will facilitate the completion of our Gyumri housing and cultural center project, which incorporates an innovative design for a fully integrated community. Utilizing the latest sustainable and people-centric strategies, our objective is to provide housing, employment opportunities, and enhanced recreational and cultural amenities,” stated Maria Mehranian, President of Armenia Fund.
Broadcast live on November 27 from 2 to 8 p.m. PST, the telethon brought together communities worldwide through platforms including Armenia Fund’s website, YouTube (ArmeniaFundUS), Horizon TV, AABC TV, SHANT TV, and Facebook. The Telethon hosts were Sos Janibekyan, Kev Orkian, Mark Geragos, and Ani Khachikyan.
