Armenia joined the states that backed the New York Declaration at the United Nations General Assembly, which calls for a peaceful settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Radar Armenia reported.
The declaration was adopted with 142 votes in favor, including Armenia’s, 10 against, and 12 abstentions. Among those voting against were Israel, the United States, Argentina, Paraguay, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Panama, Palau, and the Federated States of Micronesia.
The abstaining states included Cameroon, the Dominican Republic, North Macedonia, South Sudan, Moldova, Samoa, and others.
