Bible donated by Pashinyan to be displayed at the Washington Bible Museum

On January 9, at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan participated in the solemn ceremony of handing over the Bible donated to the Museum by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.

During the event, Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan and the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Museum of the Bible, Dr. Carlos Campo, signed a document, according to which the Bible donated to the Museum by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia will find its special place in the museum and will be exhibited during 2026.

The solemn ceremony of handing over the Bible was also attended by the Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the United States, Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and the Chairman of the Diocesan Council, Derik Ghookasian. Guests representing the academic sphere, representatives of various Christian organizations, including Paul Murray, CEO of the “Save Armenia” Jewish-Christian Union, also attended the event.
