Charles Barsamian Joins Entertainment Law Partners As Managing Partner

Veteran entertainment attorney Charles Barsamian has joined Entertainment Law Partners as Managing Partner, Deadline exclusively reported on Monday.
Barsamian will lead the firm’s newly launched New York City office. He joins Tifanie J. Acosta and Michael Roban as a named partner.
According to Deadline, the company has said Barsamian will also spearhead the development of a dedicated music division, representing music publishers, catalogs, record labels, and sync alongside composers, producers, artists, and music supervisors.
A veteran of the indie production scene, Barsamian is an Executive Producer and served as Production Counsel on several titles debuting this fall, including Derek Cianfrance’s Roofman, a Toronto International Film Festival premiere distributed by Paramount Pictures; Julian Schnabel’s In the Hand of Dante, set to premiere at the Venice Film Festival; and Mubi’s Lurker. He was a co-producer on Nick Pizzolato’s Easy’s Waltz, also set to debut at TIFF.
