The Anti-Corruption Court has rejected a petition to detain former Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan, he announced on Facebook. “Naturally, I do not accept the accusation,” Kerobyan wrote.
He added that the court issued the same decision for more than a dozen other individuals involved in the same criminal case.
Investigators filed a motion with the court to place former Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan in pre-trial detention following his arrest on charges of money laundering and the illegal takeover of municipal lands in Yerevan.
