David Yang intends to establish office in Armenia

YEREVAN /ARKA/ — David Yang, a prominent technology visionary and the founder of ABBYY and Yva.ai, revealed his plans to open an office in Armenia during an exclusive interview with ARKA news agency.
“In the current global landscape, the concept of ‘make in Armenia, make somewhere’ is obsolete. Startups are developed in the cloud. These are inherently international, remote initiatives. While we are still contemplating making Armenia one of our operational bases, the limited and uniform population often restricts that option. The nation must work towards attracting skilled individuals from various countries,” Yang stated.
He identified artificial intelligence as the most promising sector for startups.
“Regardless of whether we discuss biotechnology, agriculture, engineering, or any other field, artificial intelligence will always play a crucial role,” Yang remarked.
