Foreign Ministry neither confirms nor denies reports on upcoming VP Vance visit to Armenia

The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has neither confirmed nor denied a report by a former lawmaker that U.S. Vice President JD Vance is planning to visit Armenia in early 2026.

Former Member of Parliament Arman Babajanyan, president of the For the Republic Party, earlier said in a statement that he has information that the U.S. Vice President will visit Armenia in February 2026. He did not reveal the source of the information.

Armenpress asked the Foreign Ministry to confirm or deny the report.

“Information on planned high-level visits to Armenia is provided in a timely and appropriate manner,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan said in response to the query.
