Former Armenian Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan announced his entry into politics

“We are being forced into two paths and constantly convinced that everything is predetermined. They sow indifference and hatred towards each other. I have dedicated my professional life to human rights work, but under the current circumstances, this work alone is ineffective. I am presenting a proposal to use politics to unite people and advance the country in the name of real peace,” Tatoyan stated in a video message posted on Facebook.
According to him, the goal of this proposal is not to follow the old rules, but to change them.
“This is a proposal to remain true to our word and work together for the sake of Armenia. To demonstrate that independent thinking, speech, and a capable team exist. We must work together to restore the shattered political system and create a state governed by the rule of law, a country of ability, where success depends on the work and talent of each individual. A society that is not divided by opposition, but united around justice. This is not the path of one person; we must support each other to navigate this journey, becoming stronger. We must unite not out of despair, but in the name of hope. We can do this and we must do it. Join us in the name of your families and our homeland,” Tatoyan noted.
