The Haifa Municipality has restored the damaged street sign marking Armenian Genocide Square in the city, Jerusalemite Armenian Kegham Balian informs.
The Armenian community of Haifa is considering installing cameras near the sign to help prevent such incidents in the future.
The cause of the damage remains unconfirmed. Some sources suggest vandalism; others suggest the sign was already in poor condition and may have been knocked over by wind.
