Pashinyan to attend first meeting of Board of Peace at Trump’s invitation
Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will participate in the first leaders’ meeting of the Gaza Board of Peace on February 19, at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump.
Prime Minister Pashinyan announced this during a joint statement with U.S. Vice President JD Vance, noting that he had received and accepted the invitation to take part in the meeting.
The Board of Peace, established under the chairmanship of the President of the United States, currently includes 27 members. Among them are Prime Minister Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The signing ceremony of the Charter of the Board of Peace took place in Davos on January 22. Heads of delegations from Armenia, the United States, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Egypt, Hungary, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Morocco, Pakistan, Qatar, Paraguay, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan participated in the ceremony.
