THE DIVIDED STATES OF (FEAR AND HATRED) AMERICA

Indeed the US is more polarized now than ever before, i.e., economically, politically, ideologically, socially etc. One half of the population hates the other half. Families and friends have been torn apart and have become estranged from each other to the point of animosity. There is more violence, inequality and corruption than ever before.

A vast majority of my readers are naturalized citizens of the US like me or legal immigrants from authoritarian countries who are baffled at what kind of America are they living in now. The countries of our birth were either kingdoms, fiefdoms or one-man ruled strong dictators where there was no right of dissent or questions.

Of authorities. The population was not considered “Citizen” but considered as subjects of the ruler who had absolute power over everything.

The American Revolution abolished the reign of King George of England and established a Republic with elective office of the Presidency with 4 year terms. The American Constitution is the oldest in the world which was adopted by many other countries. The 14th Amendment guarantees many freedoms that are nonexistent in other countries.

Freedom of speech is being demolished under the guise of “Anti-Semitism”, the news agencies are losing funding under the guise of “biased reporting”, that is for not doing his propaganda.

The subsidies of several TV and radio programs are chopped off because he does not like their criticism of his policies. The US is becoming a police state the way the Soviet Union was.

Many legal immigrants with Green Cards are afraid to leave the house. Even the Birthright citizenship is being considered for abolishment.

The top educational institutions and universities (that are the envy of the world by attracting the best brains) are intimidated into submission to his way of thinking. Their funds are being cut for not obeying the “Dictates of AIPAC”.

The Department of Education is being dismantled because it is “too WOKE” that is it caters to the legacy of the minorities, in other words, to “the non-white population”…. Remember his campaign slogan, “I like the least educated….”

Hundreds of lawsuits have been filed against his illegal anti-Constitution orders.

The Supreme Court with its 5 Republican justices has become the most corrupted ever since “CITIZENS  UNITED” classified CORPORATIONS AS PERSONS by making bribery (known as campaign contributions, DARK MONEY) legal. This very same Supreme Court  granted Trump total immunity from prosecution and freedom to do what he likes, such as ignoring the lower court orders.

Everything that benefits the middle class or the working class is being curtailed, like cuts to Medicaid, Social Security, the food subsidy to the poor, funds to colleges, trade schools, housing subsidies, clean air and water acts are repealed by cutting fund to EPA, funds to renewable energy are cut but instead the Fossil Fuel industry is doing fine.

IRS funding is reduced so the billionaire tax cheats can get away but the average tax payers will be heavily audited.

The list is too long to enumerate here. The bottom line is that all of the above is being done to give tax cuts to the super rich at the expense of the rest of us.

So far his promise of AFFORDABLE AMERICA has been debunked when we see the run away inflation and higher prices.

Everything that this country stands for has been turned on its head. The constitution is being dismantled and Democratic Values are gradually being eroded.

Fear has permeated every aspect of life. Anyone can be arrested or detained any time, anywhere based on skin color or ethnicity or language.

America has become a country of BILLIONAIRES, BY THE BILLIONAIRES, AND FOR THE BILLIONAIRES….
