Vani Tatoulian Named 2025 CIF Southern Section Girls’ Volleyball Player of the Year

Senior middle blocker, Vani Tatoulian was instrumental in leading the Spartans to the CIF-SS Division 4 championship title, where they defeated Ventura in a five-set match in November 2025. In the championship final, she led her team with 22 kills.

In addition to her CIF-SS Division 4 Player of the Year title, Tatoulian also received the San Gabriel Valley Girls Athlete of the Week in early November 2025. Her coach, Laura Browder, was named the CIF-SS Division 4 Coach of the Year.

Vani Tatoulian committed to continue her academic and athletic career at the University of California, Irvine, where she will compete for the UC Irvine Women’s Volleyball program beginning in the fall of 2026.

UC Irvine Women’s Volleyball is an NCAA Division I program competing in the highly competitive Big West Conference. Tatoulian’s commitment reflects her dedication, work ethic, and continued development as a student-athlete at the highest collegiate level. Tatoulian’s addition strengthens the Anteaters’ 2026 recruiting class, as she brings talent, competitiveness, and a strong passion for the game. She will join the program with the goal of contributing both on the court and in the classroom.
