Yerevan officers fire warning shots to rescue man from 30 assailants
Police said in a statement that a Police Guard officer on patrol noticed, around 10:30 a.m. on February 23, that nearly thirty assailants were beating a man in an area near the National Library on Teryan Street in Yerevan.
Police Guard officers fired two warning shots into the air to “prevent further escalation.”
Police said one person has been arrested, and authorities are searching for the other suspects.
No additional information was provided, including the condition of the victim.
