US-Israeli Missiles Hit 3 Armenian Buildings in Tehran, 10 Armenians Injured
Three residential buildings in the historic Armenian district of Majidiyeh in Tehran have come under US–Israeli strikes, according to the Embassy of Iran in Armenia. The buildings suffered significant damage. Some of them now are considered unsafe or no longer habitable.
According to the latest information, there are 10 injured Armenians, but fortunately no confirmed fatalities among the residents. However, several people are believed to be trapped under the rubble as rescue efforts continue at the site.
Majidiyeh is one of Tehran’s historic Armenian neighborhoods. The district is known for its vibrant community life and developed infrastructure, much of which has been established and expanded with significant contributions from the Iranian-Armenian community.
