AMAA to Hold 95th Annual Meeting in Paramus, NJ
PARAMUS, NJ – The 95th Annual Meeting of the Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA) will be held on October 18 at 9:30 a.m. at the headquarter of the Association, 31, West Century Road, Paramus, NJ. Participants in the meeting will review both the activities and the financial reports of the Association.
In conjunction with the AMAA Annual Meeting, the Armenian Evangelical World Council will have its meetings on Thursday and Friday, October 16-17 and the Board of Directors of the AMAA will meet on Friday evening to report on activities and discuss future plans.
The 95th Annual Meeting Banquet will be held on Saturday evening at Double Tree at Hilton, 2117 Route 4 East, Fort Lee, New Jersey. The keynote speaker of the program will be Rev. George R. Carey, WorldOutreach Director of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. The Banquet will also feature soprano Shoushik Barsoumian. With an interest in both operatic and ensemble music repertoire, Barsoumian has been performing both in the United States and Europe since 2010.
The Annual Meeting Worship of Praise will be held on Sunday, October 19, at the Armenian Presbyterian Church of Paramus, NJ. Participants will praise God for AMAA and its services in 23 countries around the world. The service will also include a moment of remembrance dedicated to those AMAA members who concluded their earthly pilgrimage during the past year and joined the heavenly audience. The service will conclude with the installation of the newly elected Board Members.
