An Armenian-American project for Azerbaijan and Turkey: Kocharyan on TRIPP
The TRIPP project is an Armenian-American initiative for Azerbaijan and Turkey, according to the second President of the Republic of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan. He made the remarks during a conversation with reporters.
Kocharyan noted that Armenia’s interests are largely absent in the project: “Armenia is not even a full party here; it has become a half-party. Transit routes generally have two main aspects: geopolitical influence for the controller and economic benefits. By giving this influence to the U.S., the geopolitical factor for Armenia has effectively been zeroed,” he said.
