Armenia to participate in Vienna’s Spittelberg Christmas Market

YEREVAN (ARMENPRESS) — This year Armenia will participate in Vienna’s renowned Spittelberg Christmas Market from 16th of November to 23rd.

Armenia will be represented at the Christmas market in the Austrian capital with an individual pavilion with the purpose of promoting Armenia’s cultural heritage internationally, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport said in a statement.

The initiative is implemented by the ministry together with the Culture Development Foundation and the Hovhannes Sharambeyan Museum of Folk Arts.

The Armenian pavilion will feature handicrafts, including souvenirs, carpets, pottery and dolls.

Last year, Armenia participated in Strasbourg’s Christmas market.
