Aged 50, the Armenian was arrested as part of the Paphos police’s latest operation to “combat the phenomenon of people illegally staying on the territory of the Republic”.
In addition, a total of three people, aged 39, 31, and 22 years old, were all arrested after it was found that they were working without the requisite work permits in a hotel in Kato Paphos.
All three were arrested and accused in writing, while their employer was also accused in writing of employing the trio illegally.
