Armenian Bishop raises concerns over treatment of Christians in meeting with Israel’s Diaspora Minister

On Tuesday, December 23, 2025, His Grace Bishop Koryun Baghdasaryan, accompanied by the Reverend Father Aghan Gogchyan, paid a visit to Israel’s Minister of Diaspora Affairs, Mr. Amichai Chikli.

During the meeting, His Grace presented the history of the Armenian people in the Holy Land, spoke about the Armenian Genocide, and addressed the issue of being spat on by Jewish extremists and the disrespectful behavior shown toward Christians.

Minister Chikli assured that the ministry is making every effort to prevent such incidents.
