Armenians elected to City Councils in Turkey
Istanbul — During local elections in Turkey on March 31, several Armenians were elected to various City Councils.
Talin Ergunesh Gazer and Margarit Dikme were elected to the Shishli and Bakerkughi City Councils from the Republican People’s Party.
Christine Shengal was elected to the Beylikduzivi City Council, while Ared (Ibrahim) Turkay was elected to the Dikranagerd City Council.
