Armenians in airplanes forced to land in Baku

Due to restrictions imposed in the airspace of Iran, Iraq, and Israel, more than 10 planes landed in Baku on the morning of June 13. Among them were flights traveling to Dubai from Moscow, Minsk, Kazann and others.
“Taking into account the Armenian-phobic policy that official Baku has been propagandizing and introducing into Azerbaijani society for decades, as well as the known facts of arrest and ill-treatment of Armenians who found themselves in Baku both before and after the 44-day war, President of the Union of Armenians in Russia Ara Abrahamyan appealed to the Russian Foreign Ministry to take control of the situation in order to prevent possible illegal actions on the part of the Azerbaijani authorities against persons of Armenian nationality – citizens of the Russian Federation, who were on board the planes,” he said.
