In the last century several wars have contributed to 80 million lost lives, and that’s why lasting peace on Earth would be enhanced by a United Nations resolution banning civilian bombings.

 

It is a sad truth that our armed forces routinely bombed civilians in the Second World War and in Vietnam. The wars were facilitated by government sanctioned crimes and launched after serious misrepresentations by Presidents Roosevelt, Truman, and LBJ.

 

Let us ban civilian bombings.
