Eight Armenians are in Forbes’ 38th-annual billionaires ranking.
According to the list posted on the magazine’s website, the ranking includes Argentinian Armenian businessman Eduardo Eurnekian, who is in 1,104th place, with a fortune of $3 billion. Russian Armenian businessmen Samvel Karapetyan and Albert Avdolyan share the 1,143rd spot, with $2.9 billion each.
Russian Armenian businessman, founder of dating apps and social media platforms Bumble and Badoo, Andrey Andreev (Ohanjanyants) is in 1,615th place, with $2 billion.
American Armenian TV star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian is in 1,851st spot, with $1.7 billion.
Artyom Khachatryan, the Russian Armenian co-founder of Fix Price, is in 1,951st place, with $1.6 billion.
American Armenian co-founder of Moderna biotechnology company, head of Flagship Pioneering, Noubar Afeyan is in 2,152nd spot, with $1.4 billion.
And former Minister of State of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), Russian Armenian investor and patron of arts and literature Ruben Vardanyan, who is currently in prison in Azerbaijan, is listed—along with his family—at 2,545th place, with a net worth of $1.1 billion.
