Explosion at military training ground, casualties reported

An explosion occurred during mortar fire at the N military training ground of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia on July 8 at around 16:00, resulting in casualties, according to preliminary data.
The Ministry of Defense reported that the incident took place during a training session. An investigation has been launched to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
The Ministry’s press service stated that additional information regarding the condition of the victims will be provided as it becomes available.
