Former Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Appointed Permanent Representative to the UN

YEREVAN /ARKA/ –Former Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan has been appointed Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the UN (residence in New York). The relevant decree was signed by Armenian President on April 4.
Another presidential decree recalled Mher Margaryan from the post of Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the UN.
Earlier, the Armenian Prime Minister by his decision relieved Hovhannisyan from the post of Deputy Head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, which he had held since November 9, 2021.
