In 2024 Armenia paid to EEU common budget $93 million more than it received

YEREVAN (ARMENPRESS) — Armenia gave 231 million dollars to the common budget of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) this year, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan has said.

“In January-October 2024, 231 million dollars was paid from Armenia to the EEU common budget, and it received 138 million dollars, the negative saldo amounts to 93 million dollars. Meaning, Armenia has given to the EEU budget 93 million dollars more than it received,” the minister said at a parliamentary committee hearing on the 2025 state budget.

In 2023 the balance (saldo) was again negative.
