In Armenia, a foreigner opened fire in a police station
A foreigner was taken to the police station in Kotayk. “There he took the weapon of one of the policemen and tried to shoot himself,” said the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, Narek Sargsyan.
“On July 20 at 00:50, a foreign citizen was taken to the police station in Kotayk. According to preliminary data, he took the weapon of one of the policemen and when he tried to injure himself, he shot several times. As a result, he and two other policemen were wounded,” Sargsyan said.
The Department of Homeland Security and the Anti-Corruption Bureau have launched an internal investigation.
