Jake Bollman Makes History as First Armenian American to Win a NASCAR Event

Jake Bollman recently made history as the first Armenian-American stock car racer to win first place at a NASCAR sanctioned event.
Bollman’s racing journey began at the young age of 3, where he first practiced his skills in go-karts. By 7, his passion for speed and competition took him to the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, where he raced JR 1 and JR 2 Trophy Karts, marking his entry into the racing world.
Around the age of 10, Bollman made the transition to asphalt racing. His talent quickly shone through as he claimed the Orange Show Speedway Track Championship, propelling him to an INEX Legend Car at just 11 years old.
Over the years, Bollman has become one of the best, showcasing his natural skill and determination. At the same time, he expanded his horizons into Late Model Racing, starting with a Jr. Late Model and progressing to a Pro Late Model, where he tackled a steep learning curve and found success over the past 5 years.
Recently, Bollman had the opportunity to compete in a few ARCA West races, gaining valuable experience which would lead him to now racing a Late Model Stock on the East Coast in the CARS TOUR East where Bollman is running his own team and trying to have success in such a competitive series.
He was then signed to race the entire 2025 ARCA West season with Bill McAnally in the Number 19 Napa Auto Parts car. All of these steps lead Bollman to relentlessly pursue his ultimate dream, a career in NASCAR as a Cup Driver.
At only 18 years old, Bollman has won awards at several events and championships, including:
- Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series: JR 1 Kart Class Champion 2018;
- Orange Show Speedway Bandolero Track Champion 2018;
- INEX Legend Car 5x California State Champion 2019-2024;
