An internationally renowned author and advocate for women’s health, Judy Norsigian will deliver the 2024 Phillips Brooks House Association ‘Call of Service’ Lecture and receive the Robert Coles ‘Call of Service’ Award.
Norsigian is a co-founder, past executive director, and current board member of Our Bodies Ourselves, also known as the Boston Women’s Health Book Collective. She co-authored/edited nine editions of Our Bodies, Ourselves, the organization’s groundbreaking text on women, health, and sexuality. For several years she served as an adjunct faculty member at Suffolk University, where she taught a graduate course on women’s health advocacy.
Norsigian is this year’s recipient of the Phillips Brooks House Association (PBHA) ‘Call of Service’ Award, named in honor of Harvard professor and PBHA volunteer Dr. Robert Coles.
