EASTON, Mass. — Stonehill College women’s soccer midyear transfer, Lisa Kazandjian, has been called up to rejoin the Armenian Women’s National Team for their upcoming training camp from March 31 to April 6. This marks her third invitation to the national team’s training camp.
During this period, Kazandjian and the Armenian Women’s National Team will compete in UEFA Women’s Nations League matches. On April 4, they will face Luxembourg in Armenia, before traveling to Astana to take on Kazakhstan on April 8.
“Even in her short time with SCWS, Lisa has demonstrated a deep understanding of the game and exceptional technical skills,” said Head Coach Alex Wilson. “Her involvement with the Armenian National Team is a tremendous honor, and we are equally proud to support her.”
Kazandjian is one of three players on the national team who has competed at the NCAA level during the 2024-25 athletic year, joining her sister, Lara Kazandjian, who recently completed her senior season at Creighton, and Sophie Kevorkian, a senior goalkeeper at Louisiana State University (LSU).
Throughout her collegiate career, Kazandjian has appeared in 32 games, accumulating 1,273 minutes of play. During her sophomore year at Oakland, she recorded her first career assist and set a personal best with 10 shot attempts for the Golden Grizzlies.
Kazandjian joins a Stonehill College women’s soccer program that concluded the 2024 season with an overall record of 8-10-1, including an impressive 7-2-1 mark against Northeast Conference (NEC) opponents. The Skyhawks finished fourth in the NEC standings and secured a spot in the NEC Postseason Tournament for the first time in program history.
