Magnitude 3.5 earthquake hits Armenia-Nakhichevan border
YEREVAN (ARMENPRESS) — “Regional Survery for Seismic Protection” state non-commercial organization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia recorded a 3.5 magnitude earthquake with a depth of 10 km at the Armenia-Nakhichevan border, 14 km north of Kajaran city at the geographic coordinates of 39.27⁰ north latitude and 46.10⁰ east longitude օn July 15, at 10:52 local time (06:52 GMT)․
The earthquake was felt in the cities of Syunik province, namely Agarak, Meghri, Kajaran and Kapan with a magnitude of 4.
