Mekhitarist Congregation expresses support for Armenian church

The Mekhitarist Congregation of Venice has expressed full support for the Armenian Apostolic Church and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.
“For centuries, under the leadership of its patriarchs, the Armenian Apostolic Church has guided our people through the darkest and most turbulent chapters of history with unwavering patriotism and dedication, ensuring the survival of the Armenian nation against formidable adversaries,” it said in a statement on Saturday.
“The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin stands as a cradle of faith, a lighthouse of hope, a pillar of endurance and a guarantor of stability for Armenians across the globe.
“With our constant prayers, we beseech the Almighty Lord to safeguard the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the Supreme Patriarch and the Armenian nation. Lord Almighty, deliver us from evil and all its agents,” reads the statement.
