Member of Parliament announces plans to impeach Pashinyan

Yerevan — Member of Pariament Hovik Aghazaryan, who was expelled from Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract party in late 2024, announced plans to launch impeachment proceedings against Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“As a board member of the United National Socialist Party, I am authorized to announce that we are initiating a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan,” Aghazaryan said in a statement on Friday.
“We are going to name our prime ministerial candidate on May 20,” the MP added.
