Nicolas Aznavour: I’ll always stand by Armenia

Nicolas Aznavour, the son of legendary French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour, reaffirmed his unwavering support for Armenia following the inauguration of his father’s statue in Yerevan on Friday.

“I have taken personal responsibility to stand with Armenia,” he told reporters. “I remain hopeful that the country’s future will be bright. Whatever the future may hold, I will always stand by Armenia.”

Nicolas emphasized that he shares the unwavering optimism of his late father, who believed in a better future for Armenia.

When journalists asked political questions, Nicolas’ wife, who was interpreting from Armenian to French, declined to translate them. She explained that they do not engage in political discussions and instead reaffirmed their commitment to focusing on charitable efforts in Armenia.
