Odessa’s City Council Commission did not agree to transfer premises of the Armenian mission to regional council

Members of the Standing Committee on Communal Property, Economic, Investment, State Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship of the Odesa City Council refused to support the transfer of premises to the ownership of the regional councill. It was a non-residential building with an area of 156 square meters on Kira Muratova Street in the center of Odesa.
However, the chairman of the commission, Oleksandr Slavskyi, immediately asked whether the city council could offer the regional council to lease these premises. It also turned out that the premises are rented by the Armenian mission in Ukraine, which pays a small but not discounted rent of one hryvnia per year. The lease agreement was signed back in 2020. The Armenian Consulate requested the free privatization of the premises, but Ukrainian law does not provide for any other way of privatization than an open auction.
In the end, Oleksandr Slavsky proposed to keep the lease relationship between the mission and the city council, and to transfer it to the regional council as inappropriate.
