Paris Olympics: Armenian boxer loses quarterfinal bout in Paris Olympics
Armenian super-heavyweight boxer Davit Chaloyan lost to Ayoub Ghadfa of Spain in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Paris Olympics on Friday.
The Armenian athlete suffered a painful 0-5 defeat in the men’s +92kg quarterfinal bout. He would have secured at least a bronze medal in case of victory.
Chaloyan made his Olympic debut in Paris.
