Prime Minister meets Newsmax founder Christopher Ruddy
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Christopher Ruddy, founder and CEO of the American media holding Newsmax, the Prime Minister’s Office said.
The Prime Minister welcomed the growing interest of Newsmax in Armenia and highlighted initiatives aimed at fostering cooperation between Armenian and American media. He emphasized that “this is a new opportunity to deepen mutual understanding and trust between the two countries.”
The high level of relations between Armenia and the United States was praised, with both sides noting that these ties are based on the universal values of democracy, human rights, peace, and security.
Christopher Ruddy thanked the Prime Minister for the reception, noting that Newsmax is interested in covering political, economic, and regional developments in Armenia. He underlined that the media holding attaches importance to the Armenian Government’s efforts toward peace and stability and expressed readiness for effective cooperation in the information sphere.
The sides also discussed opportunities for expanding Armenia’s presence in the international information environment, enhancing the effectiveness of state communication, and combating disinformation.
