Radisson Hotel Group, in collaboration with Alecpol Projects Management LLC, is set to launch the Radisson Hotel & Spa Gyumri in Armenia. The new complex will be located in Gyumri, the country’s second-largest city, near the main square. The opening is scheduled for the third quarter of 2024.
The project, which combines a hotel and the Shiraz Plaza spa center, represents an $8 million investment and is expected to create 50 jobs.
“We hope this will be the first step towards a long-term successful partnership, as Radisson Hotel Group continues to execute its ambitious growth plan in the Caucasus and Central Asia region,” said Maria Znova, Senior Director of Business Development at Radisson Hotel Group.
The hotel will feature 64 rooms, designed according to the brand’s signature concept of “bright spaces that are both functional and cozy.”
Alexandra Spa will offer visitors a variety of amenities, including several saunas, a hammam, pools, jacuzzis, and services from experienced therapists. The project also includes a gym, bar, and restaurant. For business travelers, there will be event spaces with flexible meeting rooms.
Radisson Hotel & Spa Gyumri will be the second hotel by Radisson Hotel Group in Armenia, following the Radisson Blu Hotel, Yerevan, which opened in 2016. It will also be the 17th property under operation and development in Central Asia and the Caucasus.
“This hotel will become a key destination not only for Gyumri but will also serve as an additional incentive for more active tourism development in the region,” said Arman Barsegyan, General Director of Alecpol Projects Management LLC.
