The Israel Prison Service (IPS) detained an illegal immigrant from Turkey who tried to infiltrate the Rimonim-Ofek prison on Friday.
The Turkish citizen attempted to bring equipment to a minor detainee held there.
The illegal resident was caught when IPS systems indicated that he was not registered, leading to his detention. A thorough investigation revealed that he was an illegal immigrant, and he was handed over to the Israel Police for further processing.
