U.S. Ambassador awards certificates of appreciation to Armenian police officers who saved kidnapped American citizen
YEREVAN (ARMENPRESS) — United States Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien has thanked the Armenian police for safely returning a kidnapped U.S. citizen.
The U.S. embassy posted photos on social media showing the Ambassador awarding certificates of appreciation to Armenian law enforcement officers.
“Ambassador Kvien expressed the heartfelt gratitude of the entire U.S. embassy team to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Armenian police for their efforts to safely return a kidnapped American citizen and bring the perpetrators to justice. This cooperation shows what we can do when our countries work together – for the good and safety of our citizens,” the embassy said in a statement.
